What a very special meeting today!  John Frank and Tony Schwarz, representing the Friends of MacKenzie Environmental Center, were on hand to give an update of the work for the design and creation of interpretive signage along the MacKenzie Center's Wildlife Trail.  Through a $5,000 matching grant from Rotary District #6250, the DeForest Club today donated $10,000 to the Friends of MacKenzie Environmental Center, Inc. for Phase 1 of the Trail Project.

Joyce Bromley from the Rotary District #6250 Grant Committee was in attendance to bring the $5,000 matching grant and hear more about how the contribution will be used.
