The De Forest Area Rotary Club donated $1,053.48 to support the DeForest Area Needs Network.  The funds were raised at the September 8 Yahara Riverfest event in DeForest.  Rotarians sold meals during the afternoon event, and donated all of the profits to D.A.N.N.

Pictured are Rotary president Erin Jones and Bob Blankenhagen from D.A.N.N. at the December 12, 2018 DeForest Area Rotary Club meeting, where the check presentation took place.

During the check presentation, Jones thanked Pete Beeber at Rodeside Grill who donated the kids meals that were served at the Yahara Riverfest event.  The Rotary Club also sold pulled pork sandwiches that were donated by North & South Seafood & Smokehouse in DeForest.

At the Club's December 12th meeting Blankenhagen talked to Rotary Club members about D.A.N.N., explaining the purpose of the organization and sharing statistics about the hundreds of community members served over the years.  Learn more about D.A.N.N. here.
