| Adopt-a-Class
- This partnership with Mrs. Mason's 2nd grade class at Windsor
Elementary School provides the opportunity for students to learn about the
careers of individual Rotarians, participate in a Rotary Club
meeting, and to raise funds for an orphan
home in Haiti. |
Literacy -
Rotarians are working with the DeForest Area Public Library to
increase literacy. Rotarians
deliver books to senior citizens in the DeForest area community.. |

School Scholarships - Each year, two scholarships are provided
for graduating seniors. |
Blood
Drive - Each year Rotarians sponsor three community Red
Cross blood drives at the Comfort Inn & Suites. |

Poinsettias
- Rotarians sell poinsettia plants in November to raise funds for
local service projects. |

4th of July Freedom Run - Each year Rotarians help during the Freedom Run, sponsored by DMB Community Bank. |

Road
Clean-Up - DeForest Area Rotarians spend two afternoons per year
picking up trash along Portage Road. |

Affairs Seminar - Each year, DeForest Area Rotary Club sponsors
two high school juniors to attend the World
Affairs Seminar at UW-Whitewater. |
Social
Activities - Rotarians celebrate the holiday season together.
Each year's activity is different. Other activities are held,
such as a Mallard's game, Concerts on the Square, etc.. |
| PolioPlus
- The DeForest Area Rotary Club contributes annually to the
international PolioPlus initiative in the hopes of eradicating polio
throughout the world. Funds are generated through fund raising and
individual member contributions. |
Membership
- Club members continually spread the Rotary message of
"service to others" and recruit new members for the
DeForest Area club. |
| Haiti -
The DeForest Area Rotary Club raises
money for humanitarian projects in Haiti. |

| Youth
Exchange - The DeForest Area Rotary Club helps to support
students interested in the opportunity to meet people from other
lands and to experience their cultures through the Rotary
International Youth
Exchange Program. |
